Griffin Mission One

Astrobotic (Voyager Lunar Systems since July 2026) · Griffin · manifested

Launch: late 2026 (NASA, Aug 2026); no earlier than November 2026 (Voyager, Jul 2026). Landing: not in public sources.

NASA calls it Moon Base II. VIPER, the original payload, moved to Blue Moon Pathfinder Mission 2 (CS-7). NASA's August 2026 article puts five NASA payloads on Astrolab's FLIP rover; Astrolab lists four on FLIP; NASA's TO20A page puts an LRA on the lander. NASA's Moon Base page lists two LRAs without saying where; this study reads it as one on the lander and one on FLIP. The same NASA page also lists LDES for IM-3. Landing site: Mons Mouton (NASA's TO20A page); Wikipedia says Nobile Crater. Voyager lists ten payloads in all, including Astrolab's FLIP rover and Voyager's CubeRover; those are not listed here. The two lander systems are listed because the study tracks them.
