Route: other NASA¶
Other NASA lines.
This route covers NASA payloads that reached CLPS landers without a payload call: the CLPS program's own Laser Retroreflector Arrays, VIPER, SCaN's LuGRE, JPL's User Terminal, the NASA payloads on Griffin Mission One's lander and rover, Sanctuary, two Lunar Terrain Vehicles, and the payloads of the Moon Base awards of 30 June 2026. NASA named them in task-order releases and CLPS pages. The calls listed here are for services, not payloads: the VIPER partnership (cancelled), Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services, and the 2026 Moon Base task orders (their requests for proposals went only to the vendors).

No call or release found for Moon Exploration for Titanium with Active Lighting (METAL), Lunar LiDAR Demonstration, Laser Retroreflector Array (LRA), on the FLIP rover: No call. NASA has not said how or when it chose these payloads for Astrolab's FLIP rover on Griffin Mission One. Astrolab first named them on 18 May 2026; NASA's Moon Base Phases page now lists them. METAL is a camera Interlune built with NASA Ames under a Space Act Agreement.
No call or release found for Lunar Dust Level Sensor and Effects on Surfaces (LDES), Lunar Dust Level Sensor and Effects on Surfaces (LDES): No call. NASA's 2024 dust roadmap planned lunar flights for LDES, with CLPS as a target. The decision to fly it on Griffin Mission One and IM-3 is not public. NASA's CP-11 page for IM-3 does not list it.
No call or release found for Sanctuary on the Moon (time capsule): No call. NASA agreed in September 2023 to carry the Sanctuary time capsule on a CLPS flight, but no NASA document of that agreement was found; the sources are a CNRS article and a NASA official's remarks of March 2024. NASA's IM-5 award of 27 March 2026 (under Laser Retroreflector Arrays) names it.
No call or release found for Laser Retroreflector Array (LRA), Linear Energy Transfer Spectrometer (LETS), Laser Retroreflector Array (LRA), Linear Energy Transfer Spectrometer (LETS), Laser Retroreflector Array (LRA), Linear Energy Transfer Spectrometer (LETS), Laser Retroreflector Array (LRA), Linear Energy Transfer Spectrometer (LETS): No payload call. NASA chose three flight-proven payloads (SCALPSS, LRA and LETS) for each of the four deliveries. The delivery request for proposals (CS-8) went only to CLPS vendors; NASA's Ignition page describes it. Voyager ties its award to CS-8; that the Firefly and Intuitive Machines awards are also CS-8 orders is the study's reading.
