February 2025 workshop: Architecture Updates (industry and academia deck)¶
Document: 2025-ia-workshop-architecture-updates.pdf, 17 slides, 2,015,153 bytes, from
https://www.nasa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/, fetched 2026-10-01T18:28:05Z (sources/manifest.csv). Same
title slide, presenter and footer as the international deck ("Nujoud Merancy, Deputy Associate Administrator,
Strategy and Architecture"; "February 2025"). It opens the set for the industry and academia workshop on the
Architecture Workshops page. Text:

A near-copy. The wiki reads the international partners' deck in full: Architecture Updates, international deck. This page records only what differs. The text of all 17 slides was compared with it, and the images of the slides that differ (14 and 16) and of slide 15 (whose text layer drops the titles) were viewed. No "Moon Base" in the text (searched).
Slides against the international deck¶
| This deck | International deck | What differs |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | Same |
| 2 | 2 | "workshops for Industry and Academia"; participants "…almost 200 registrants", "…across industry and academia", "…representing nearly 100 organizations", "…small and large; new and established" (the international deck: over 70 registrants from over 20 space agencies) |
| 3–13 | 3–13 | Same text, including the habitat's "up to 4 surface crew", the "FN-U-201 L" label and the cargo lander's "payload capacity on the order of 2 tons" |
| 14 | 14–16 | One slide, "New ADD Appendixes", in two columns: "Architecture-Driven Technology Gaps", "APPENDIX C", and "Key Moon to Mars Architecture Decisions", "APPENDIX B", with the same bullets. It drops the international deck's "Architecture gaps are…" box (with "56 total gaps currently") and the "Priority Decisions" chart; the five added decisions and the fission decision are a bullet, with the same "it's" and "and" |
| 15 | 17 | "2024 White Papers": the same twelve titles and thumbnails (image checked); the text layer carries only the numbers 1–12 and the thumbnails' text |
| 16 | 18 | Retitled "Logistics and Mobility: BAA App R". Same two bullets and seven study areas and the same cover of "Appendix R: Lunar Logistics and Mobility Studies". In place of the four dates, a banner: "Opportunities for collaboration with industry for early studies and trades will continue" |
| 17 | 19 | "What's Different this Year?", same text |
What the differences say. The industry deck names the solicitation as "App R" in its title and looks ahead to more industry studies; the partners' deck gives its dates, ending with a "Source Selection Statement January 22, 2025". Neither names a paper, so neither settles open question 30.
