February 2025 workshop: panels and roundtables (international partners deck)

Document: iparch03-panels-and-roundtables.pdf, 6 slides, 14,388,091 bytes, from https://www.nasa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/, fetched 2026-10-01T18:28:06Z (sources/manifest.csv). Every slide dated "February 2025", footer "Moon to Mars Architecture Workshops". Part of the international partners' set on the Architecture Workshops page. Text: sources/text/docs/2025-02-iparch03-panels-and-roundtables.txt; images in sources/raw/slides/2025-02-iparch03-panels-and-roundtables/.

What it is. Six title cards for the international partners' workshop, one per session. Not a copy of the industry and academia cards (that deck): five session titles recur (architecture products, logistics and mobility, infrastructure, interoperability, enabling science), some with the same NASA speakers, and the sixth is "Many Nations" where the industry deck has "Many Voices". No content slides, so this page records the programme only. All six slides were read in the text layer, and the images of the one text-poor slide (3), a card labeled "ROUNDTABLE" and "Mars Room", and of slide 4. Its rooms are named "Moon Room" and "Mars Room" (slides 2–5), as on Architecture 101's international copy.

The sessions

Slide Session (as printed) Room Speakers
1 "Partnering with NASA: Perspectives on Architecture Products" not printed Rebekah Reed (International Integration Lead, ESDMD); Amer AlSayegh AlGhaferi (MBRSC); Dong Young Rew (KASA); Arvind Ramana (ASA); Gregory Navarro ("Project Manager for Moon Architecture", CNES). Partner agencies in place of the industry deck's companies
2 "Logistics and Mobility" Moon Room Nujoud Merancy (Deputy Associate Administrator, ESDMD, SAO); Shatel Bhakta (Lunar Architecture Lead, ESDMD, SAO); Brad Bailey (SMD)
3 "Infrastructure (Power & Communications)" Mars Room Julie Grantier (Deputy Manager for Integration, ESDMD, SAO); Steve Bowen (Cross-Directorate Technical Integration, SOMD); Angela Krenn ("Deputy Chief Architect (Acting)", STMD) (image)
4 "Shared Visions; Shared Standards: Interoperability and NASA's Moon to Mars Architecture" Moon Room A "ROUNDTABLE" (image): Rebekah Reed (Lead, International Integration, ESDMD); Patrick Finley (Director, Human Exploration and Operations Division, OIIR); Steve Creech (ESDMD – M2MPO); Zachary Pirtle ("Program Executive, ESSIO", "SOMD")
5 "Enabling Science" Mars Room Brad Bailey (SMD); Shatel Bhakta (ESDMD); Tiffany Morgan (Director, Mars Exploration Program, SMD); Jake Bleacher (Chief Exploration Scientist, ESDMD)
6 "Many Nations; One Message: We Are Going" not printed Lori Glaze (Deputy Associate Administrator, NASA); Adnan AlRais (MBRSC); Naoki Nagai (JAXA); Valérie Zinck-Dasmien (ESA); Jill Smyth (CSA); Raffaele Mugnuolo ("Head of Exploration", ASI)

Against the industry and academia cards (the wiki's comparison): the partners' sessions on architecture products and on "One Message" put agency speakers where the industry deck has companies ("Many Voices" there, "Many Nations" here). Several NASA speakers repeat: Grantier and Krenn on infrastructure, Reed on interoperability, Bhakta on logistics and mobility, Bailey and Bleacher on enabling science. There is no listening session, no commercial-partnerships or national-interest panel, and no "Human System" or "Proving Ground" session in this deck.

What bears on the wiki

Oddities

  • Slide 4 gives Zachary Pirtle as "Program Executive, ESSIO, SOMD" (image checked); Architecture 101's international copy places ESSIO in SMD ("Exploration Science Strategy and Integration Office (ESSIO), Science Mission Directorate").
