Summary. NASA's CLPS hub page: headline figures, the contract pool, a link to a delivery timeline graphic (a July 2025 upload, not fetched), news and contacts. It says nothing about the Moon Base directly, apart from its news list. Its figures differ from ADD Rev C's.
Key points¶
- Figures (top of page and "CLPS Providers"):
- "17", "Current PLanned Lunar deliveries by 2028" (capitals as printed)
- "60+", "NASA instruments to the Moon"
- "a pool of 13 eligible American companies on contract under CLPS"
- "To date, NASA has awarded 17 lunar deliveries to five CLPS vendors to carry more than 60 payloads to the Moon."
- "indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts with a combined maximum contract value of $2.6 billion through November 2028"
- each award covers "end-to-end commercial payload delivery services, including payload integration, mission operations, launch from Earth, and landing on the surface of the Moon"
- Against ADD Rev C. The ADD's CLPS one-pager (December 2025) says "NASA has awarded 15 task orders to seven different CLPS lander providers for delivery of more than 60 payloads" (ADD Rev C, p. 47). This undated page says 17 deliveries to five vendors. Neither source explains the difference (CLPS, "Changes since Rev C").
- Purpose ("About CLPS"): "rapid acquisition of lunar delivery services from commercial vendors to send NASA science and technology payloads, enabling industry growth and supporting long-term lunar exploration". The model is "a unique opportunity to test and refine technologies and integrate systems that will provide insight for future crewed missions".
- Risk ("CLPS Risks and Benefits"): "NASA has accepted the risk that going through this innovative approach with commercial companies, that there could be some failures."
- Program contacts: Adam Schlesinger, "CLPS Lead", Johnson; Regina Blue, "CLPS Programmatic Deputy", Johnson; Ryan Stephan, "CLPS Technical Deputy", Glenn. The June 2026 release calls Stephan "NASA's Moon Base acting director of cargo landers" (June 2026 release).
- News list (as fetched): the PRISM release (Sept 2026), a Falcon 9 stage's lunar impact (4 August 2026), the August Moon Base update, the June awards release, Lunabotics 2026 (27 May) and a FIRST Robotics item (21 May). The wiki holds the PRISM, August and June items.
