Luxembourg Space Agency poster (February 2026)

Document: ip-lsa.pdf, one page, 4,124,959 bytes, from https://www.nasa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/ (sources/manifest.csv). Listed as "Luxembourg Space Agency" on NASA's Architecture Workshops page, "Hosted here with partner permission" (Architecture Workshops page). The workshop was on 24–25 February 2026 (deck). Text: sources/text/docs/2026-03-ip-lsa.txt, which reads in order. Footer: "2026 Moon to Mars Architecture Workshops", "NASA x ASI".

Whose material. The Luxembourg Space Agency's own poster, not NASA's architecture (SCHEMA, "Workshop slides").

Summary. Space resources: the European Space Resources Innovation Centre and the national programmes behind it, and four technology areas Luxembourg supports.

What the poster says

"Unique National Capabilities", as printed: the European Space Resources Innovation Centre (ESRIC), "the world's first innovation centre entirely dedicated to space resources", launched in 2020 by the Luxembourg Space Agency and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology "in strategic partnership with" ESA. "It is hosting and jointly operating a Dusty Thermal Vacuum Chamber (DTVC) from ESA, the largest of its kind in Europe, to develop lunar surface technologies", and "conducts research and develops technologies to use space resources, e.g. producing oxygen and metal from lunar regolith".

"Areas of Strategic Interest", as printed: the SpaceResources.lu initiative (2016) "for the peaceful exploration and sustainable utilization of space resources", addressing "legal, regulatory, technical, scientific and funding aspects, to enable commercial players to use space resources". Through LuxIMPULSE and ESA programmes, Luxembourg supports industry in:

  • "Orbital prospecting of lunar resources and generation of high-resolution lunar resources maps."
  • "Lunar surface mobility for in-situ measurements of lunar resources."
  • "Storage of thermal energy providing thermal and electric energy, for lunar night survival."
  • "Storage and transfer of cryogenics in space and on the lunar surface."

Against the architecture (the wiki's comparison)

  • RT-1 lists the Luxembourg Space Agency among nine agencies in joint technical studies (ADD Rev C, pp. 84–86; RT-1).
  • Its four areas are on subjects the architecture also lists as needs, for example surviving the lunar night and cryogenic storage and transfer. The poster cites no gap, and the wiki doesn't pair them (open question 85). No "Moon Base" (searched).
