Australian Space Agency poster (February 2026)

Document: ip-asa.pdf, one page, 906,053 bytes, from https://www.nasa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/ (sources/manifest.csv). NASA's Architecture Workshops page: "International partner poster from the 2026 Moon to Mars Architecture workshop co-hosted by the Italian Space Agency in Rome, Italy. Hosted here with partner permission" (Architecture Workshops page). The workshop was on 24–25 February 2026 (deck). Text: sources/text/docs/2026-03-ip-asa.txt; image sources/raw/slides/2026-03-ip-asa/slide-01.jpg, read to pair each objective code with its item (the text layer separates them).

Whose material. The Australian Space Agency's own poster, not NASA's architecture (SCHEMA, "Workshop slides"). Everything below is what ASA's poster says.

Summary. Two halves: "Australian Industry Showcase: Unique Capabilities" and "Roo-ver and the M2M Objectives". ASA's poster tags each item with Moon to Mars objective codes and recurring-tenet codes of its own choosing.

What the poster says

"Australian Industry Showcase: Unique Capabilities", with the codes printed beside each:

Item, as printed (abridged) Codes
"Positioning Australia as a hub for launch and returns activity, enabling pharmaceutical development and life science research for astronaut health in space" LI-7
SPIDER ("Seismic Payload for Interplanetary Discovery, Exploration and Research") "will be the first Australian seismic payload to land on the Moon in 2026", to "demonstrate the ability to produce miniature geophysical devices for future lunar and Martian geophysical exploration missions" SE-5
"Australia has strengths in lunar dust mitigation technologies, radioisotopes and radiation sensing, and helium 3 analysis", naming CSIRO's Centre for Advanced Technology AS-1
LUNA ("Laser measurement Unit for Navigation Aid") "points laser beams at the landing site to measure the vehicle's velocity and altitude", mapping terrain for "course corrections and controlled landing"; "its first flight with IM's next lunar landing" SE-5, LI-5
"world renowned, leading experts in sample analysis, Martian and Lunar Geology, Geophysical Modelling" LPS-2
"Optical Ground station at the Australian National University – to demonstrate the Artemis -2 O2O – Optical to Orion demo + SpAARC Remote Operations Centre" RT-8, LI-2

"Roo-ver and the M2M Objectives". "Roo-ver will be carried to the lunar surface through the NASA CLPS initiative. It will weigh approx. 20kg and will be integrated with a NASA payload. Roo-ver is expected to operate for 14 days on the lunar surface." Its aims and requirements, with codes:

Item, as printed (abridged) Codes
"Demonstrate and progress Australian exploration foundation services capability with remotely operated and autonomous Australian robotic lunar assets"; "Contribute to NASA's endeavour to go to the Moon and on to Mars by integrating and hosting the NASA sensor with the Roo-ver platform" SE-5, AS-3, RT-1, RT-6, RT-7 (bracketed together)
"Australian Operation - Operate foundation services rover (Roo-ver) from an Australian based operation centre" OP-4, OP-10, OP-5
"Lunar Surface Images - Roo-ver shall provide images during rover operation" OP-8, AS-1, LPS-2
"Lunar Surface Operation - Roo-ver shall be remotely operated on the lunar surface" LI-2, OP-4, OP-5, OP-12, SE-5
"Sensor Measurements - Roo-ver shall facilitate at least three measurements by the hosted sensor at locations agreed in consultation with the Mission Scientist" LPS-3, AS-3, LI-6, OP-3
"Transport the sensor - Roo-ver shall transport the hosted sensor between points of interest" LI-8
"Deployed Asset - Roo-ver shall perform the mission on the lunar surface as a deployed asset" SE-5
"Safe Interoperability - Roo-ver shall demonstrate safe operations during deployment and proximity operations to the lander" RT-7, LI-6

Against the architecture (the wiki's comparison)

  • The codes are ASA's mapping, not NASA's traceability. They are printed without the L, M or LM suffixes, and the RT codes are recurring tenets, not objectives. Every objective code printed is an ID in NASA's list of 63 (LI-1 to LI-9, OP-1 to OP-12, SE-1 to SE-7, AS-1 to AS-6, LPS-1 to LPS-4; Objectives). The wiki hasn't checked whether each objective's wording fits the item.
  • CLPS. Roo-ver is to fly "through the NASA CLPS initiative" (CLPS); no date or provider is given.
  • ADD Rev C on ASA. RT-1 lists ASA among nine agencies in joint technical studies, and "NASA is collaborating with ASA on lunar regolith and rocket plume surface interaction" (ADD Rev C, pp. 84–86; RT-1). The poster doesn't mention plume surface interaction.
  • No "Moon Base" on the poster (searched).

Oddities

  • "Artemis -2" and "IM's next lunar landing , LUNA" are printed so.
