Summary. A list page for the press: two media contacts, three media briefings, four releases, program links and social media accounts. Nothing on the architecture. Its use in the wiki is dating: it lists the Moon Base events and releases in order.
Key points¶
- Media briefings: "Ignition: NASA's Plan for The Moon", March 24, 2026; "May 2026 Moon Base Update", May 26, 2026; "June 2026 Moon Base Update", June 30, 2026 (each a YouTube link, not held).
- Releases and articles:
- Ignition release, March 24, 2026
- rovers and landers release, May 26, 2026
- science awards release, June 30, 2026
- cargo landers and tech demonstrations update, August 4, 2026
- Program information: three links ("Moon Base Overview", "Leadership Biographies", "Moon Base Program
History") all go to the encyclopedia entry; a fourth, "Moon Base
Solicitations", goes to
nasa.gov/moonbase-solicitations/, which is not among the sources. - The Ignition date. The page dates the Ignition briefing 24 March 2026, as the release and fact sheets do. The Administrator's 26 May speech says "On March 23rd" (open question 95, speech).
