CNES poster (February 2026)¶
Document: ip-cnes.pdf, one page, 1,728,497 bytes, from https://www.nasa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/
(sources/manifest.csv). Listed as "CNES (France)" on NASA's Architecture Workshops page, with the standard line
for the posters, "Hosted here with partner permission"
(Architecture Workshops page). The workshop was on 24–25
February 2026 (deck). Text:
sources/text/docs/2026-03-ip-cnes.txt; image sources/raw/slides/2026-03-ip-cnes/slide-01.jpg, read to place
each label under its project. Footer: "2026 Moon to Mars Architecture Workshops", "NASA x ASI".
Whose material. CNES's own poster, not NASA's architecture (SCHEMA, "Workshop slides").
Summary. "CNES, France": "The Moon is not just a destination, but a laboratory for Mars and beyond." Four "Tech research and discovery domains" ("Habitat and Life Support", "Robotic Assistant for astronauts", "Crew Health", "Nutrition") and six "Exploratory cornerstone projects" at three levels, drawn over a lunar-surface rendering that includes a module labeled "DEEP SPACE HABITAT" with ESA and "SPACESHIP FR" marks.
What the poster says¶

|---|---|---|
| "SYSTEM" | LISE, "Lunar Integrated Shelter for Exploration" | "V.1 Power Station"; "V.2 Lunar Science Laboratory"; "V.3 Habitat for 2 astronauts for min. 7 days"; "Same as earth mountain refuge" |
| "SYSTEM" | LORA, "Lunar Operations Rover Assistant" | "Bring equipment"; "Execute tasks"; "Autonomous navigation"; "Astronaut's mule" |
| "Sub-system / rack" | Medipod | "Prevention, Diagnosis, Care"; "Well-being & performances countermeasures"; "Earth equipment miniaturization"; "IT solution for crew autonomy"; "Astronaut's digital twin" |
| "Sub-system / rack" | Space Kitchen | "Plant and fungus cultivation"; "Food processing & preservation"; "Cooking"; "By-product recycling"; "I/F with ECLSS" |
| "Payload / Techno." | GeoAssist | "Portable equipment"; "In Situ Resource Characterization"; "Geology"; "Sample collection"; "AI Expert" |

Against the architecture (the wiki's comparison)¶
- ADD Rev C on CNES. RT-1 lists CNES among nine agencies in joint technical studies, among CLPS payload providers, and in PRISM ("the U.S.-led far-side seismic payload and an electromagnetics experiment") (ADD Rev C, pp. 84–86; RT-1). The poster mentions none of these; its projects are habitation, crew support and robotic assistance.
- The poster doesn't relate LISE's habitat to the ADD's Initial Surface Habitat, and the wiki doesn't either. No "Moon Base" (searched).
