The workshop was on 24–25 February 2026 (deck).
Text: sources/text/docs/2026-03-ip-uksa.txt. Footer: "2026 Moon to Mars Architecture Workshops", "NASA x

Whose material. The UK Space Agency's own poster, not NASA's architecture (SCHEMA, "Workshop slides").
Summary. "UK Space Agency, United Kingdom": strategic investments, key capabilities, contributions to international missions, and a technology roadmap.
What the poster says¶
- "UK Strategic Investments in Exploration": "ESA: UKSA's primary Exploration Partner", "ÂŁ2.8 billion total investment over the next decade, focusing primarily on delivering the Rosalind Franklin mission & Argonaut-1"; "Strong Domestic R&D and Technology Pipeline"; "Bilateral and Global Collaboration", "Targeted international partnerships".
- "UK Key Capabilities in Space Exploration": "Propulsion & Test Infrastructure – e.g., Wescott"; "Robotics & Autonomy Excellence – e.g., Airbus and RAL"; "Space Communications & Navigation"; "ISRU & Nuclear Innovation"; "Strong scientific expertise"; "Instrumentation & Payload Heritage".
- "Examples of UK Contributions to International Missions": the ExoMars Rosalind Franklin rover ("PanCam, Enfys, Raman"; "Launching to the Martian surface in 2028"; "First rover to drill to 2m below Martian surface"); ESA's Argonaut lander (descent engine and propulsion subsystems); "Gateway - UK contributions to I-HAB and ESPRIT modules, enabling habitation, refuelling and communications in lunar orbit"; "UK radiation instrumentation"; "Lunar Pathfinder - SSTL delivering Europe's first dedicated lunar communications spacecraft"; "Moonlight - UK industry shaping future lunar navigation and comms services for global users"; "Artemis II and III – Goonhilly and Geology team".
- "UK's Exploration Capabilities": "Lunar and Mars Surface Systems: Landers, mobility, comms and power solutions to support long-duration missions"; "Human–Robotic Integration"; "Technology Maturation: Advancing TRLs across the 11 Technology Themes identified in the UK Exploration Technology Roadmap"; "Commercial Growth & Partnerships".
- "Example tech": a "Plasma Micro-bubble Water (PMW) Reactor" from the University of Southampton, to "remove biological and chemical contaminants from water extracted from the Martian surface".
Against the architecture (the wiki's comparison)¶
- The UK Space Agency is not among the nine agencies ADD Rev C lists in joint technical studies; RT-1 does list "a UK Space Agency instrument on Lunar Trailblazer", ESA's Rosalind Franklin mission and ESA's Moonlight (ADD Rev C, pp. 84–86; RT-1). The poster presents the UK's Gateway work as contributions to ESA's modules. No "Moon Base" (searched).
Oddities¶
- "Wescott" in the capability list; the photo caption has "Westcott Venture Park". Recorded as printed.
